Rereading notes feels productive, but the research is clear: passive re-reading produces almost no long-term retention. The brain only consolidates a memory when it's forced to retrieve it — and timing those retrievals is everything.
Revise too soon and you waste time on material you already know. Leave it too long and the memory fades before the exam. The window of optimal review is surprisingly narrow.
After each revision topic, you rate how much you recalled. That's it. Kraemon takes your rating and recalculates the optimal review date for that topic — recalling less shortens the interval, recalling more extends it.
